The styling in the editorials (and most modern ones these days) suffer from the same problem that runway shows suffer from: lack of storytelling.
I can kind of see where each story is going? But the inspiration all feels rather vague, and because a lot of modern designers don't follow the same trends the way they used to, it feels like there's no clear "fashion" story and it's all just blah. Like that first story: what does the all knit sweater look have to do with the pocket tube top and the oversized suits?
