Numéro China #3 November 2010 : Sasha Pivovarova by Greg Kadel

photoshop, "life in plastic it's fantastic" and that stuffs....but nice result !

I'll probably never get my hands on a copy, but like others have said, I find this cover very striking, despite the way it's wandering more towards digital illustration than a shot of a human being.

Chinese Numero seems to be fairly amazing, maybe it's the vigour that comes from being a new magazine.

i think it's more of a slightly out of focus shot than a over photoshopped one. i love it soft but with a heavy make-up edge.

I have to admit that when I saw Sasha's name that I was afraid it would be reprint of her September editorial in Numero.

Very striking shot indeed, I personally love it. Great to see Sasha on another cover.

I don`t know what to say! This has got to be one of the best covers I`ve seen to date. It`s so striking and fierce. Vogue China has found it`s worthy rival

i agree 100% with everything you said! so excited for this. :woot:

LOVE the face closeups on covers. The expressiveness in her eyes is amazing!!

I was still counting on Numero China to FINALLY be a Chinese (Or should I say East Asian) fashion publication to feature East Asian Models on EVERY of their cover. So I painstakingly searched and purchased COPIES of #1 and #2, and was thinking that #3 will help form a collection of East Asian beauty covers for me. This is SUCH a DISAPPOINTMENT.

Haven't other publications such as VN and Numero Korea been excessively featuring Western faces? And so now Numero China is jumping on the bandwagon too?? I just wonder why East Asians cannot love themselves more, and learn to appreciate their own beauty. Isn't there any ONE single Chinese fashion magazine that sticks to East Asian models (celebrities aside)?!

When Numero China #1 came out I told myself that if subsequent issues were to feature Western faces on their covers, I'm not gonna continue buying it. I will still buy this issue even though it hurts to do so, but because I'm counting on the 4th not to disappoint.
