i don't really know much of zooey or her work, but that article makes her sound like someone i'd like to punch the crotch. "uniquely endearing brand of quirkiness"? spare me.

oh, and the third to last paragraph about her music is completely revolting. i'd like to punch the interviewer too.

ZOOEY! I don't know what bothers the haters, but this girl has got it all. I'm so happy she's recording. I remember when she used to dismiss singing and recording saying she didn't have time for it. I think this interviewer hit the nail on the head, and I'm so glad that Zooey is doing what she loves. Her album is ace, and I can't wait for more. Congrats, ZD
