Hi, does any of you know how Olivia managed to go to all this show for fashion week? Does she pay for her plane ticket and hotel room, if not who does? What is her real job? Basically I am interested in knowing where she makes her money from. I know she used to be in the City, and she did model for Freida and Mango, but was just curious because she's hanging out with heiresses and she goes to all this places! Who finance the whole fashion week for her as it get quite expensive between hotel rooms, cabs fare, foods etc.
I hope I'm not offending anyone with this money question, I am just very curious and a bit cheeky I guess! Many thanks x

^ Hi Olikle and welcome!! That's a good question...She certainly isn't hurting for money since her family is well off, but it must cost a fortune out of pocket to do all of these things! I would imagine some of the shows give her an appearance fee since she is always big with the photographers and reporters and no doubt gets buzz for the designers...but the rest is a good question; certainly no second tier designer is paying for a $4,000 a night suite at the Ritz!!

I've always wondered about things like this too. Do celebs get paid to sit in front row at fashion shows? If so, do all the brands pay, or just the big names that can afford it? And I'm guessing celebs get some free clothes as well? Cuz I mean, if you go to a couple of Paris shows, and wear a Valentino jacket to one, a Chanel dress to the next, the newest Prada shoes to another one, it must cost so much money! Especially for fancier dresses that can't be won all the time... Unless Olivia is rich enough that a Valentino dress doesn't even make a dent in her bank account.

It's actually true that some celebs are being paid to enter the shows. I remember watching Kelly Cutrone's show, and she explained it in one of the epsiodes. She works with PR, so she would know. As far as Olivia goes, she has managed to establish herself as a fashionable "it-girl". That is to say, I would not be suprised if the designers offered her to borrow or get some of their clothes, because they know that young girls will see her bag, shoes or dress and ask where it cames from. It has been shown all lot of times in this forum as well. And from seeing Rachel Zoe's show, I know that celebs can borrow really fancy desinger dresses for big events. So the conclusion is that Olovia probably is well off, but she does not buy all her clothes. She probably gets to borrow them or get them for free.

I think Olivia gets her clothes for free. In "The City", there has been an episode where Erin and Olivia where @Guess to grab some clothes for wearing them on a party.
