Olivia Palermo: Malaria No More UK Cause Campaign

Olivia Palermo stars in a new campaign promoting the ‘Malaria No More’ Mosquito Locket Necklace by iconic jeweler Stephen Webster. Olivia is also joined by Yasmin & Amber Le Bon, Annabelle Wallis and Tess Daly.

The necklace is a silver plated belcher chain necklace, featuring an enamel pendant with diamante encrusted mosquito with sparkling crystal wings, presented in a branded pouch and costs US$164 (asos.com) with 100% of profits going to Malaria No More UK, a charity dedicated to ending deaths from malaria in Africa by 2015.

For someone so beautiful she does not make the best model. In so many of her modeling pics she looks wooden and her features don't translate into the stunning pictures you would expect.

I love that she manages to create her whole "ladies who lunch look" through topshop while most of those women are spending much more on Oscar de la Renta. Now that she's made a name for herself she can probably get loaners from top designers.

^ You're right, Loladonna.

Olivia can sometimes seem a little 'Deer in the Headlights' frozen in professional pictures, which sits at odds with the fact that - facially - she becomes more and more beautiful in candid, spontaneous photography.

That is so true. Everytime I see a photoshoot she's in, I can't help but think her beauty really doesn't translate into the professional pics as much as it does it papz pics.

I like her day to day style more ... she is actually one of the rare celebrities I would like to see papped (in contrary to most who are just boring and ordinary and could very well be left alone).

I agree that her advertisement photos haven't been the best.. Mango ad is a good example.. it was way too photoshopped and Olivia didn't look like herself at all. But the last shot is stunning!! Her eyes are so big and beautiful and I love her cheekbones^_^

^ I understand that her look may lend itself better to natural pictures, but I would put a lot of the blame on the photographers, too- they are not lighting her beautiful face correctly.... B)

I kinda agree on both accounts. I have yet to see any magazine cover or editorial as well as her commercial modeling that impressed me. She seems comfortable in front of the camera enough and give different looks but the end product is always lackluster.

In the beginning, her style was defined by high-low mixing... she used tons of topshop/zara/H&M with high end accessories... however, lately she has been wearing high end brands like Giambattista Valli, Armani, Valentino and far less topshop... but her overall style hasn't changed much... just a bit more sophisticated IMO.

Love the way she wore the dress at the Glamour awards, very chic and modern and she accessorized it perfectly:flower:

I wasn't a fan of the slip that she added to the dress, I think it looked better shorter? However, longer was probably more suitable for the winter :D ^^ she looks stunning in the malaria campaign I think!!

She looks adorable as always at the Sephora's event , looove her vest

Does Olivia ever wear Ralph Lauren or carry his bags? Just seems like something she would gravitate to.... ;)

Actually, Olivia looks great in the ASOS magazine. And Elle Japan? Maybe she just needs the right team? Honestly, I wish some magazine would just let her go mad in their store room and style herself.
