Olivia Palermo

She's going Olsen on us.

There was that initial period when the Olsens "came out" some 5-6 years ago when they had an amazing style that a lot of people that loved fashion could relate to. To use a political analogy they were just slightly off center but still in comfortable liberal territory.

Then they started looking like they had tinfoil on their windows and spoke to people in their bathroom mirrors and everyone except the most die hard people were over it.

Olivia, after being widely recognized for being polished and classic and yet slightly sharp and modern in her dressing, is now going off into crimped hair and palm spring retirement pants.
Which makes no sense because her whole career is her fashion image. There is no discernible talent beyond that. It's too early in the game for her to go that route.

the last look wouldn't be THAT bad if her clothes were tailored to fit her correctly. She's practically drowning in that suit.

Making the most of the New York Fashion Week festivities, Olivia Palermo was spotted checking out the Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2011 runway show last night (February 13).

The former “City” cutie looked simply stylish in a white suit with a pink shirt and a grey overcoat as she posed with Hilfiger himself at the Theatre at Lincoln Center.

As of late, Olivia has been busy with the Tibi Spring/Summer 2011 campaign, posing in a variety of outfits and settings.

Ms. Palermo was photographed by Reed Young, and her hair was handled by Kevin Ryan and Frank Rizzieri.

Bravo-- and could not agree more. KARMA! :flower:

I agree - she does polished (a bit trendy and quirky) image well and should explore this look. It was also quite a unique image in a way (since women today generally try to look more dishevelled), especially when she often created these looks with cheaper clothes. I can imagine she could get a lot of money promoting cheaper brands this way, but on the other hand I understand she wants the fancy brands to give her clothes instead ;)

It seems she's dressing more...seriously than she used to, but she's taking it to an elderly level.

i'm sorry, but i laughed at her outfit in post #548 (Tibi)! Her skirt is just... :D

the single pieces are beautiful (except the skirt), but the combination is ugly!!

but i love her look at Vera Wang and her face is stunning as ever :)

That fur thing she is wearing is really ugly. Her outfits are getting worst and worst.
