Im afraid Caroline could be right.... so I wonder, if we, who might be considered as her fanbase (even tho I hate the term fan) don't like her print work, her model career is going nowhere and all we demand is candids since that is what we find really inspiring from her... and we dont get those candids, how is she going to attract some interest towards her or her lifestyle like she used to do?

I read that MTV didn't want to launch Lauren's reality because it wasn't focused enough in her personal life, but in her fashion career, and we all know Olivia always refused to exposed her private life in The City, may this be the reason why the show doesnt seem to arrive? Even tho, I think a fashion tv show based on her style would work, just like Louise Roe, she got her show and I think Olivia is more popular or known than Louise is. But at this point, with no news of any kind of project... her show seems to have the same luck Whitney or Lauren' shows had.

Honestly, I think Olivia has a better chance than Lauren to head a reality tv show based on fashion alone. Of course, MTV will not be the network... she should try Bravo or the style network.

She already lives in one of the major fashion cities and has ties to all the others... she is well connected within the fashion industry...

I guess I am just speaking for myself... I would much rather see someone build a fashion line in NYC than in L.A...

I think the drop-off in candids may have something to do with the City being off the air now. She's less interesting to paps now and she never achieved the status of Rachel Bilson or Kate Bosworth (who are high up enough to get photographed even without projects), so she won't get photographed for doing nothing. I have actually seen a picture where Olivia is walking by a bunch of paparazzi and the guys are just sitting there, not even bothering to take her picture.

And I doubt her new TV show will go anywhere. Lauren Conrad has a much bigger fanbase and even she couldn't get her show on the air. I believe LC's show had the same premise as well (launching a new fashion label). If there's no demand for LC's show, I doubt there is one for Olivia's show.

She needs to get involved in a new project soon before all interest dies off. And her newly evolved style is not garnering new fans either.

Lauren's show didn't air because she refused to make it personal, though. I think Lauren's fan base is used to getting the ins and outs of her life, and MTV producers knew that they wouldn't settle with a career based show. Whereas, some of Olivia's fans were introduced to her through a show based purely on her career. I still have hopes for her.
