While I like the navy coat and the heels, the skinnies are just too much with that tie-dye effect.

She has those leggings folded up in a weird way -- anyone else notice that? Ditto the comments about her wide open blouse in the middle of the day! But that blazer is lovely.

I get the feeling she may read this thread. Something about her defensiveness regarding her blog in that interview makes me believe she got wind of some of the criticism from here.

I love everything about that last outfit save the shoes. The way the bag matches the color in her pants is nice. I just wish she-- like a lot of fashionistas in this blogger era- didn't feel like she has to make every item in her wardrobe a contrasting print just for the sake of not matching. The snakeskin shoes are too much with the tie dye pants. It's okay to just have a matching shoe sometimes.

loladonna, if I had to guess one way or another, I'd also vote that Olivia reads this thread. In which case, how lucky is she to have so many people pointing out what works for her, stylewise, and what doesn't?

I just read the ES interview...she really didn't impress them which was very foolish of her. She usually comes across well in interviews and interviewers seem fond(ish) of her. The City I've always taken with a grain of salt because it's mostly fabricated rubbish but there was no reason to be so rude and self-entitled

This was off-putting

At very nearly 26, she is without a doubt the most patronising person I have ever attempted to interview. We sit in separate rooms, pink with fury. Eventually she manages to say, steely as you like, ‘I want to concentrate on my current projects because that’s what my readers are interested in.’ But this seems more about what Olivia Palermo is interested in: namely, building a brand; a process that begins with whitewashing, personality bypassing and exceedingly, almost oppressively, good manners.

The whole won't-speak-until-my-agent-comes and general rudeness etc reminds me of some interviews that Alexa Chung has had. A bit of humility wouldn't hurt; these girls...I mean they need get some serious perspective

She's best when she is in motion or "candidly" taking a photo. The modelling in posts, 323 do absolutely nothing for her except demonstrate how good a model her bf is.

love the latest outfit! Very clever way of matching what would have been really loud trousers if not styled correctly and as usual her accessories are rad x

I don't like it. The shoes are different and kind of nice, but not loving those jeans!
And the bra showing, not very elegant:innocent:

if she is reading this thread, I hope that one day she'll tell us where exactly she bought that gorgeous red vintage bag. I'd soooo love to know:p

Hm, that piperlime video is kind of awkward...she looks great in it but seems a bit off.

Videos For Piperlime Below....

Awful speaker, she sounds exhausted and is exhausting to listen to as well. She is slow at getting to her point and is repetitive. She also sounds false, the items she presents are not even good ones!

The opposite of what I want from a fashion advisor.

I had to stop watching that video out of second-hand embarrassment. Olivia's beauty is causing people to want more of her than what she is capable. They want her to be a great model and spokesperson but she isn't. Nothing about her is natural. Her mouth moves so awkwardly when she speaks and I found it distracting.
