I am not very surprising. I know people say how nice she is after meeting her. But I mean how can she not be nice within that few minutes, especially with someone who is probably a fan of her. I do think The City is showing some of her real personality, Overall, this doesn't stop me from being a big fan of her style.

^^wow. I kinda feel bad for olivia bc she didnt (doesnt?) know people are talking about her behind her back and wrecking her reputation. I mean, meeting new people that have been told you're a b*tch...nobody comes off well in that situation.

She might be nice in real life, but on the show she came off pretty badly. In fact her attitude turned me off from watching the entire series. But I'm still a huge fan of her style. That said, she must receive tons of free stuff from Zara.

^I wasn't able to watch The City, for her and for that Whitney girl. But I think was the show itself. Exactly like The Hills. The typical American silly shows full of pretty people in the middle of mediocres dramas.

Lauren Conrad (The Hills) was on Fashion Police and Joan asked her how much of the show was fake and she said 90%, so I wouldn't put much stock in The City being anything like reality either...

Some of the drama might have been manufactured by the producers, but as Whitney pointed out on the clip, there's only so much editing, the rest was Olivia's superior and rhymes with witch persona.
I think the thing about these reality shows is that the producers will require that the participants have some sort of gathering and will want them to bring up X thing that may have happened when filming wasn't going on. So, yeah, in that sense it isn't "reality" because people are being asked to rehash something that may have already happened, but in the end, they aren't made to say anything they don't want to say. Maybe X thing was said in March, but the editors decided to use the sound bite for something Y that happened in May. That sucks, but the truth of the matter is that the person said what they said or did what they did.
You can't really blame the editors and say that they portrayed you as XYZ. Just looking at how badly Olivia's contribution is to her own blog, I have to believe that the way she was on The City as it regards not fully committing to her position (even though the position was manufactured for the show) is likely true to who she is--she wants the glamour and the accolades without really putting much work into it.

is so "funny" to see Olivia and her mother with this guy (I think is from Pikolinos collaboration, isn't it?) buuuut... i just realized that is not too fair the Olivia and her mother wears fur and coat, and the boy is almost in bare legs...just saying
