Olivia Palermo

Under a cloudless sky and whisked away from the hustle and bustle of NYC, after six and a half years of courtship, our favorite duo quietly and stylishly became husband and wife. In an intimate ceremony, very befitting of the private couple, the two said their vows amongst only a handful of family members and closest friends as they were surrounded by ivy and blossoming flowers in a quiet park tucked away in Bedford, New York.

“We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends. Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside.”

Olivia looked effortlessly stunning as she personified bridal bliss while wearing three elegant pieces all by wedding designer favorite, Carolina Herrera. The fashion guru created the look for her special day by styling a simple cream cashmere sweater with scattered ostrich feathers and chic white shorts with a full tulle skirt overlay that cinched at the waist in layers of satin and silk and featured a high slit in the front with floral details along the hem. Her hair and makeup were kept easy and sophisticated as her hair was pulled back and up in her signature centered-part pony-tail and natural-looking makeup provided a soft romantic touch complimenting the simplicity of the day itself.

“I wanted the makeup to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean. my hair was in an uncontrived Pony Tail, one of my favorite personal looks.”

As always, Johannes perfectly complimented his bride’s ensemble while looking particularly dapper in a bespoke tailored white Marc Anthony Hamburg suit with a Marc Anthony Hamburg piquet shirt, a navy Charvet tie and navy Etro pocket square. In fact, both the bride and groom sported a little “something blue” on their special day and for Olivia this was featured in an exquisite pair of deep blue Manolo Blahniks. As for her jewelry, she donned delicate trinkets in the form of stud earrings by Alexandra Mor and a bracelet bought while visiting Jodhpur, India.

As the sun began to set and their memorable day came to a close – surrounded by the smiles of their loved ones – the happy newlyweds headed back into the city that never sleeps with special memories they’ll be able to keep for themselves forever. And although the event itself was small and discreet, they are proud and excited to share the news of their wonderful union with everyone here on oliviapalermo.com.

Looks like the shoes that Carrie wore to wed Big in the Sex and The City movie...

They are stunning. Olivia looks really beautiful. Not sure about her dress though... it is not ugly but it certainly isn't pretty IMO.

I hate to be mean but I suspect her wedding was small and quick because she doesn't seem to have any real friends. She attends a lot of events and takes pics but still seems on the outside looking in with regard to the social circles she's trying to infiltrate.

She looks cute at her wedding though.

i read somewhere that they had to rush the civil wedding because some visa issues of johannes...
it seems the'll tie the knot again in autumn this year!

I suspect her family didn't want to pony up for the $100,000+ wedding she would've wanted so she went the total opposite way. I wonder what "closest friends" comprises, since we've never seen her with any friends. Outside of events, she is literally always alone.

For someone as on the make as Olivia, it's surprising she married Johannes. Handsome as he is, he doesn't seem to have family money to sustain their lifestyle and he doesn't seem to be a super in-demand model.

Ugh -- oh no. A second wedding for show's sake. How Olivia indeed. Here I thought she had gracefully thrown in the towel on her puffy, poofy dream wedding.

Both of them look really good. And who cares if she has a small or a large ceremony? As long as she's happy... and she's the bride - she does what she wants!

^ Agreed. The logistics of the ceremony don't matter. She's happy and looked beautiful. All that matters.

While I wasnt in love with the dress I love that she went her own way with it - cant remember a celebrity dress that looks much like it in recent memory. The mark of a trendsetter.

This looks like a bad photo shoot :ninja:

Love the BTS pics! As for the photoshoot...maybe it's for a fall campaign? Otherwise

Saw this old Ulyana pic and it reminded me of her wedding outfit.

Oh and btw, I love her side swept hair. She has never really done that for some reason.
