OMG, she was terrible on this week's episode. Also, I can see from the photos, she's ALWAYS alone. I don't think she's really in any elite socialite circle in NYC. And The City isn't going to help her reputation. I give credit where it's due and she has great style. But she's also a liar.

^ I highly doubt DVF would let two girls that "fake work" in order to film scenes for their quasi-reality show actually style an actress for the cover of a fashion magazine. It's been confirmed by many outlets that they don't work there and just go in to film scenes. More than likely, MTV created this scenario and these two and DVF staff just went along with it. They need drama to make this show work. Unfortunately, the show isn't getting the ratings MTV hoped it would - The Real World and random MTV shows like Daddy's Girls have been getting higher ratings lately.

What I don't get is, why is Olivia doing this show? I do get that she wants to create a 'brand' (somewhat like Paris, Nicole, Lauren were able to do by starring in reality tv), but don't think it's going to help her win any 'fans' by acting the way she does.

I have no idea to what extent The City is scripted, but this week's episode was so fake. Perhaps Olivia is obnoxious/conniving/dishonest/whatever, but I don't think she's stupid enough to lie and take credit for the cover when she knows it's going to air on national television and her bosses might see it. But I'm wondering the same thing as stateofbliss is, which is why is Olivia on this show? It might be getting her attention, but all negative attention. Maybe later on in the show there will be a twist and Olivia turns out to be super caring or something.

do you mean pictures from events? Paparazzi usually yell for people they haven't heard of to go away, and as Olivias the 'famous' one, I don't think her friends/people who go with her would end up on picture agencies sites. And sometimes she with her boyfriend but wasn't he a model? He has some mild status in those kinds of circles to have pictures taken

I never knew who she was until i watched the City. She is like a female version of Spencer from the Hills. highly annoying and fake and yet we love to hate her.
