It's not bad, it is just surprising...They live in Brooklyn (for some reason) and they are in Downtown Manhattan all the time...it is just weird to me- they are very different places...Maybe he and she have business interests in The City, but I know people in Brooklyn who got to Manhattan a couple of times a year; it is just strange when every picture you see of them is eating, shopping or walking on the streets of Soho and Tribeca- I wonder why...

^ No, she evidently moved to DUMBO in Brooklyn over a year ago, but she was very secretive about it, except that Gawker and New York Magazine got on to the story...Of course this more properly show be in the other thread, so we can continue there I suppose...

I totally agree! She proves a girl can wear flats and still look unbelievably chic.

I think she's definitely got her style mojo back (although arguably she never lost it). Her style seems to have evolved slightly? I like it more now. Her looks are simpler somehow. Maybe it's just her summer wardrobe. She used to have more vibrant colours/ prints in her outfits and pull them off with such panache.

Im from Australia and my friend visited America and actually met her in a local coffee shop in NY!!! She said she was super sweet, nothing at all like the show, even though she was in a hurry and complimented her outfit. She said she seemed like she's Whitneys outgoing and friendly persona on the City!

I rewatched both seasons recently and there are times where you have to watch it again to see that Olivia's perspective does have a valid point. (sometimes) I mean, Whitney's collection really was a flop (come on!) and Erin as Elle's PR knows drama results in people to talk.

Any news on her own show? Maybe she will get a stylist for it because in my opinion, her City days was when she really had the big hits.

^ Egghead, I think the show has sunk without a trace...Not only has there been no news about it, but she was never really seen out and about with a camera crew, which would normally be a prerequisite to putting together a demo to show to the TV Networks and so on...I have a feeling it has been forgotten at this point...

That's sooo sad, I would love a reality show with her in it. But I think money- and careerwise she doesn't need it right now. I wish she would change her hair though, but she seems to like it...

GetCloser; not jumping the gun but even Whitney had some good outfits in the City. No, her best outfits I have ever seen her in. The same with Olivia. And we all know how unrealistic most of the city is. e.g. the episode after Olivia and Nevan laughed at Jay's performance at that event, there was that DVF party. At the end of the group conversation, Whitney is laughing and says, "I learn something from you every day Olivia." The camera pans to Olivia and she looks b*tchy but then it pans to Whitney laughing and you can clearly see Olivia is also laughing with her. I think MTV had a stylist on hand to help them, or guide them or even go straight to their wardrobes and pick things out. Because seriously, how could someone with such classic prep-like style as her chose some outfits I swear Whitney would wear? Over the top, clashes in a bad way and not body friendly to even someone who has an amazing body as hers. Also I reference Whitney because I assume from her eyes darting up and down to Whitney's white pants, loud belly showing top outfit in the office (the episode where Whitney has lunch with the quiet guy from their office.) she doesn't like the combination. I think she actually wore a white pant outfit that reminded someone on the forum would be suitable for a 50 year old?...
