I don't find it so surprising. Even blogs like seas of shoes have 'staff' as does Lauren Conrad's beauty blog. I don't think hers will be a typical blog anyway; from what she says it seems it will have a magazine type feel but in an online form

The Marchesa dress to the movie premiere was wayyyyyy inappropriate! I think the shoes everyone is making a fuss over are supposed to look like a tribal leopard, not a true leopard.
