there are more 'natural' cosmetic brands out there now than you can shake a stick at but the one's that are truly organic are harder to come by, at least as far as the mainstream brands are concerned.

what are some organic lines you're read about, tried, tested or approved? for the sake of broadening the discussion i thought i'd be more reasonable to include lines that perhaps aren't %100 organic but do contain some organic ingredients...

two i can think of off the top of my head:
Zuii and Une. Une isn't available in my area but I've tested the Zuii at my local healthfood store and their Blush is WOW. there were only 3 blsuh testers but i think the "grapefruit" color is gorge and reminded me of NARS Orgasm. the prices are a bit steep the blush was $24 but i wanna get it for my mum for Mother's Day.

^ i was mistaken, the Zuii blush shade i purchased is called 'melon'. looks gorge on mum altho it goes on very sheer so its ideal for those who are heavy-handed.

Here's some more info/pics on UNE. Has anyone seen/tried this brand? I'm dying just to see/touch this in person. It's on off-shoot of Bourjois and i believe is widely available at Boots in the UK.

the minimalistic packaging and amped up neutral color palettes reminds me of Barney's now defunct LOOK line or like a more affordable, natural version of Burberry:

With names like Sfumato Eye Pencil how could anyone resist? For Reviews & swatches go here.

Their ads are genius. i want their t-shirts!:

Oooh I love Zuii products!! I had the blush in "Peach" and I can tell you it's the prettiest blush I've ever used. I'm also extremely pale (like corpse pale) but olive toned as well and it's always been really hard for me to find a foundation that matches my skin tone, but their foundation in "Light Olive" was amazing, it matched my skin so perfectly you couldn't see it was there and felt amazing

Unfortunately I've run out of both and I'm not able to get them where I am, I have yet to find another foundation that works as well and I bought Nars blush in Orgasm, which is very pretty, but it's not as good. If I could afford it I'd buy a whole set of Zuii products, they're by far the best organic makeup I've tried, and I love that they're made from flowers:blush:

bummer. i'm the queen of falling in love w/ dc'd or htf cosmetics. i think i 'glossed' over the other Zuii products since the blush by itself blew my budget:rolleyes: did you buy the pressed or liquid foundation? i'll have to stop by Marlene's and see how peachy the shades lean. Even brands like MAC and Bobbi Brown turn orange on me ( i think Bobbi has it all wrong with her yellow obsession)...

have you tried alima brand mmu for your hard to match pale-olive skin-tone? their shade selection is almost too vast (60 shades)! with 6 undertones to choose from cool/neutral/beige/warm/golden/olive. i love their satin matte foundation and also highly recommend their satin matte blush. they're not organic but are certified natural:alima

also love mineral fusion powder foundation in Olive 1 but am getting too tan for it and need to buy the 2 or maybe 3 depending how tan i go ( finally getting sunny days in Puget Sound WA!), the finish is divine w/ nearly imperceptible shimmer particles. their shades are broken down into warm/olive/cool/neutral/deep shades. they're natural in the traditional sense of 'special' natural ingredients used ala say Clarins but also leave out " top three sensitizers, fragrance, FD&C dyes and synthetic preservatives."

altho not the most natural fresh face luster powder which contains 'crushed pearls' goes pretty pale and looks lovely on the skin.

Anyone know where they're located? I'd really like to try their products.

Ive recently been getting back into mineral makeup. I use Inika foundation which I love. Also have used Prestige which is great too.
This payday Im hoping to buy one (or a few hehe) of Inika's eyeshadows.
Also, one of my local health food stores stocks Zuii and they look great. Might try some of their blushes if you gals like them!

I've switched to mineral makeup last summer but realised not all mineral make up is "natural/organic". A lot of them do still use a lot of chemicals.

Does anyone know a good organic brand I can get in the UK?

Oh and a good skin care brand that only uses natural/organic ingredients would be helpful too. I realise even brands like the body shop use chemicals :/

Lily Lolo? Its UK based.

Laura Mercier and BareMinerals are good 'true' mineral powders.

are these also vegan ??
I highly recommend Benecos, their blush is lovely .
Also , Lavera is nice. they also organic and vegan.
