Oscar de la Renta F/W 2019.20 New York

Doesn't look very modern.
Not one exciting piece in the lot.
Battenburg lace and puffy quilts, no thanks.

It's missing the flair old Oscar had. The romanticism, the sexiness, the luxury of the original. It's quite boring. And again, I wonder which of these Meghan Markle will wear.

Their best and most « ODLR » collection yet.
The daywear is maybe less modern, less obvious but there’s something casual and very American and quite modern in a way in the whole collection.

This reminds me of ODLR in how generous his collections were. It was always too much outfits, everything from everyone on one collection.

I see some MGC Dior but executed with more confidence and sexiness. Those clothes are for women, not young ballerinas.

They have come a long way from their earlier, try-hard collections.
