Pale / Fair Skin - What Are Your Fave Products?

I'm not sure what it costs in CDN, but in my experience, a little really does go a long way. Maybe I shouldn't have kept it this long (I don't know about the shelf life but...) I got mine at Easter time and there's still plenty left...

what are your opinions on brown mascara?

sometimes i think black is too dramatic, especially since all i wear on my eyes is mascara(and sheer pink blush on cheeks)

i have medium brown eyes & hair so i thought i should use black of course but sometimes i think brown might be warmer and less harsh

^it depends. My mom is as pale as me, but wears black because of her very cool undertone. I am warm so I like brown on me better.

^ porcelain pink is PERFECT for pale people! ^_^

That is all I use along with Beauty Powder in Sunsparkled pearl and Strada Matte blush

as for mascara, eggplant Diorshow that's discontinued, or Vamp from Chanel.

I just bought NARS blush in Orgasm, it works well with my fair skin - not too strong.

does anyone is is very pale but with black/brown hair???? :S it really hard too choose clothes or makeup!

I need a good non-comedogenic powder for warm skin. I really wanted to love Everyday Minerals, but they're warm foundation was too dark and too yellow. :(

That describes me. I don't think it's a problem though, I've found I can wear mostly any color. Maybe we're different in some way.

Dark eye make-up is less noticeable with dark hair. One time I dyed my hair red and wore my usual eye make-up, and suddenly my brother got on me for wearing too much make-up. I told him it was because of my hair, and he denied it.

I think going natural looks the best with our coloring though. I would if my skin weren't so aweful. :ninja:

*raises hand* i dyed my hair dark ash brown, its faded to more of a medium brown but im very very fair skinned. i feel like i can wear more different colors with this combo actually but i have to be careful of how it is applied..cant go overboard, which is easy to do with fair skin. i really do love the contrast though! i only wear mascara and pink blush or lipgloss but for events i usually wear golden brown eyes with bronzer on cheeks and ive done soft pink eyes before.

^ what colour you guyz choose for clothes???? because most of the clothes i saw in the mall it more suitable for tanned people :s

I definitely don't wear white. But maybe that's just me. It makes me look all yellow and brings out my imperfections. Purple may be the best 'color', but even more I prefer black.

Right now my hair is an ugly brownish color because I dyed it red last summer, then tried to dye it dark again twice but it washed out. I really want my brown-black color back so that I can wear black peacefully again.

Mostly any dark color is good. That doesn't leave a lot of great options for summer, but I just find light colors don't make my skin look good. Again, it could just be me.

is it possible to be a both yellow & pink toned? i think i can pretty much wear any color or at least i havent tried anything that didnt work. my closet is color coordinated so it looks like a rainbow. i think you can wear any color as long as the shade is right, if its a difficult color for you then try a sheer shirt.

my sister is faired skinned as well but more pink than i am so its harder for her to wear beiges because she either blends in or gets washed out.

i wear mostly abercrombie tops so i guess their color palette works for me whether its light or dark etc im super super fair in the winter, like right now. *blue veins* you guys ahha and i do a lil bit of fake bake in the spring summer.

i was really scared of being fair again because i had maintained a fake tan all summer..but i let myself fade back in october. i think it was mostly makeup that needed to be changed..just say no to bronzer. pink blush looks soft & natural etc

ALSO! i just bought MAC Plushglass in Plus Luxe and its soo gorgeous! super sheer red that ive been lookin for..foreverrrr  keep in mind, my natural lip color is pale pink. not sure if its a 'blue red' or not..or maybe its the sheerness but i have MAC Venetian Lustreglass which is too opaque and has subtle orange to it(i wore it for Halloween though cuz you can never be too over the top on Halloween!)

ive actually stopped wearing blush because ive gotten so fair that its very easy to over do it. I'm okay with that because less is more and it saves me money! Now i only wear black mascara, i just bought dark brown mascara (Maybelline Full 'n Soft waterproof) so im excited to try that when im done with my tube of black mascara. And on lips either MAC Flusterose lustreglass(see my avatar) or MAC Plus Luxe plushglass(as mentioned above).

Plus Luxe looks like Kristin Kreuks lip colors in these photos, rosy when freshly applied and as it fades its more of a bright pink!

^ i also really love Natalie Portman's look in Free Zone. From HQ versions ive seen of the photo, she is wearing light brown liner, brown mascara, and lipbalm(she says she likes Rosebud Salve).

i guess we have the same complexion  i have creamy yellow undertone but i have rosy cheek  i remember doing those warm tone/cool tone test, that if ur a warm tone u have green vein, while cooltone's skin show blue/purple vein.... well, one of the vein is green.... but the one next to it is blue-pupleish cuz is closer to the surface of the skin :innocent:
