i have decided this...
this stuff definitely looks better on some people than on others...
i have seen some people looking amazing and others looking like they are wearing a costume...
even though it is the same exact outfit...

it's just not a look that suits everyone, imo...

i think that girl looks cute in that outfit...
the jacket looks yummy!
so- i guess that is the print on the shirt?
i thought at first there might be a print on the lining of the jacket...

i find that the wrinkles fall out of clothes like this and you have to sort of put them back in...

this happened with my CDG CDG raincoat...
it's not really wrinkled all over like it was when i bought it...
as soon as i wore it in the rain, it all smoothed out...
quite funny...

thanks for the images runner...
nice to see some activity in this thread!
:flower:

any news on ss14? I saw a few blurry pictures on degliafetti's tumblr but can't find anything else

you're welcome softgrey
yes it's the shirt print.
as for the wrinkles, that's why altieri's clothes came in heavy cotton tube as their own garment bag. you just squeezed them into it. there are still several ones that are not used if you like.

oh how interesting...
i had not really thought about that tube being something really useful or practical...
i just thought of it as some sort of design/aesthetic thing...
but now it makes much more sense...

it's kind of you to offer...
i like that idea very much...

I'm going to write down this quickly, so sorry if it doesn't sound like english at all. there is a way to squeeze a garment into the tube bag. the tube has the differently sized ends, one is narrower the other wider. if it's a coat, you are supposed to fold it at the yoke line and roll it with its front inside, if possible or if you have enough time, in a zigzag way so that the wrinkles come out cooler. and at first the wider end for the top part then the narrower end for the bottom part. slowly otherwise it would damage the buttons in some way or other. good luck!

thanks for explaining, runner!

i sort of did that except that i twisted it more than did a zig zag...
it turned out well enough and i wore it today...
i will definitely try the zig zag thing next time...
now that i have done it and seen the result, i can imagine that it would come out a bit better that way...

thanks again...it's great!

:P

glad that it worked!

I'm looking for a phone number, email or address of paul harnden as I would like to find out about a possible placement in his workshop. anyone that can help me?

it's not that difficult to find his company info on the net.
but as far as I know he doesn't employ anyone from among random strangers, while it seems that he takes someone twice a year. basically it is who his acquaintances introduce to him. maybe you have to make some effort at figuring out the route on your own, walking around and asking the retailers etc, if you are really serious. you know he tends to stand somewhere remote from too convenient too technological or too efficient approach, for example, using the internet as some information vending machine. I guess that's part of why you would like to support him. sorry I could not be of help.

the image above is from the catalog baycrews made for journal standard.
although the rest of the images are of other designers/brands, I'll post them since they are good (and should be compatible with harnden).
