Lanvin, one of the hottest French labels for women, is hoping to heat up its men's department, too. Paul Mather, fashion director at Paris' Vogue Hommes International, has started wearing a second hat as the new creative director of men's wear at the house. Mather, who has consulted for brands such as Costume National, Calvin Klein and Valentino, will continue in his role at the twice-yearly Condé Nast title. Mather said he would work under the guidance of Lanvin artistic director, Alber Elbaz, as well as a new men's wear designer whose name will soon be revealed.
