oh,about time to revive this thread, non?
I've had the following pic on my hard drive for years now,so I've no idea where I got it from (perhaps it's from modculture.co.uk or some other 60s website:(

the david bailey interview really attracted my interest in her. can somebody recommend me a book/website containing a good biography?

^oh,is it really pattie boyd? I'm terribly sorry, I just took a quick glance at dress, hair and legs and thought it was penelope.

I know everyone is very enamored with the alien and haunted look, it's all very glamorous and fantastic, but Penelope Tree doesn't remind me so much of a model as she does a patient from those health videos they show in school. You know, the bad side of skinny. Not the pretty side.

All these postings are so wonderful. Thanks to everyone! Many pics I hadn't seen before. Thank you so much!!

I think she had a unique face, especially her eyes, regardless of her weight. I love her look, but that doesn't mean I'm going to emulate it. It's sad she had an eating disorder, but I'm not going to dislike her because of it. I love the big eyed alien look though and I understand it creeps a lot of people out haha. I've had people tell me that Penelope/Twiggy/Blythe dolls/etc. are creepy, but I love it.
