I took them apart on 3 occasions, it was better because I built it much better : D 1st time I built it, I did not place enough tape, so the magazine was making this shape: S I wasn't happy so I took it down and fixed it.

I buy like 300 for 10 bucks in Mexico, they work. The ones I've seen online are too expensive.

Next time my Mother complains that I have too much magazines ('You have too much magazines! You can't fit into your room anymore! You should collect stamps, they are much smaller!'), I just show her the pictures of this thread, maybe she then understands I'm not the only one collecting magazines

I ought to show this thread to my mother too... she always complains about it too! Its hard for me to explain to her my love for them, but usually my reply is, "well... I mean you spend a fortune on knitting and quilting supplies so why can't I spend money on magazines?" Usually that makes her stop and think for a moment.

You guys are costing me a fortune!! Every time I stop by I end up at E Bay bidding on some more magazines!!
It's sort of a sideline, but when I was making decent money back when, I started collecting Chanel catalogs- there is at least one done for every collection, often several...but it became too expensive- they are often $25 +!! Does anyone collect catalogs?

yes I do too, ones with my fave supermodels& the best photographers. CHANEL are indeed amazing and there are so many from the 90's I still need with Claudia mainly in all of those. Giorgio Armani 1990's are amazing too by Linbergh and Roversi. Ferragamo, Fendi , Escada are beautiful too.
My catalogue collections started after I ran out of UK Vogues to collect, I focused on Catalogs. Ebay is fabulous for Chanel.

Have you considered getting new parents!!? Seriously- when I think of the things we all could be getting involved with, this is really positive and interesting, even though most people would never understand...
I remember reading when Karl was hired for Chanel, he locked himself away with his own collection and tore out every Chanel picture he could find so that he had a personal style manual to work with; and he said his collection was actually bigger than what the company itself had!! He is the patron saint of collectors!!

the last 2 MIUMIU OCT/NOV issues are not that amazing. very large and very slim (no more than 20 pages), they mainly show accessories and unfortunately are not of the whole campaign or catwalks. They are very awkward to store are so slim and tall.

This is my little one. It would be bigger, like 2 years of magazines, but I had to throw them away because my mom didn't want to see them for my room, she said it was a mess
I'm trying to retrieve magazines from other years asking my friends, some of them just buy them and throw them


I have more mag that doesn't appear here because I have to scan something

The biggest mistake was when my mom said to threw away 2 years of magazines

I'd like to buy all mags and some of other countries but I don't have enough money and I live in a town so I can't find some that I want, like Metal Magazine
Actually I buy only HB and Tendencias each month. Since HB is in Spain I don't buy Vogue, I don't like how they're working but I can see it thanks to Zhanna
