this guy is amazing, you can't even tell it's pinhole - there's so little distortion

but then again, the fascination of it is the weird angles :)

thanks francesca for starting the thread! :flower:

thank YOU! i LOVE the images in posts #21, 23 and 24...i really love the oddly focused bits around the edges..i think that's what makes them really distinguishable as pinholes.

this has made my day!
not often you become fascinated with something immediately ^_^

thanks .francesca & everyone else who is posting pictures

that's true, drivers, but the whole fun of it is to make your own :)

pocodolce, a pinhole is a camera you can make out of pretty much anything. all you need is some unexposed film or paper, some sort of enclosed box or cylinder (like a coffee can), and patience

here are some links to DIY pinholes:

some of these are super detailed, but it's really easy to make this camera..and you're never sure of the results but that's 100% of the fun!

HAHAHAHA...^_^
Thankz for the tips and the interesting photographs, .francesca

First test shot on a 4x5 pinhole I made out of an old ammunition box. I'm rather happy. Developed it in my house, 1.5 minute exposure, 1.5 minutes soaking in Kodak Dektol. The film was actually paper, Ilford MGIV. Can't wait to do more!

BTW, I think that website was eDay or something... :innocent:
