Pirate Chic

It sure is a statement. I think it is nice for one particular piece but the entire pirate costume is a bit too much unless you're in a Peter Pan play.

But a nice pirate blouse with jeans, or the boots with a blazer would look nice.

More of the same sort of style.
i really like this kid's coat. pirates and the whole elizbethian thing go hand and hand since well they basically happened well generall about the same time. well pirate popularity happened a little later.

i like the whole pirate influence but i wouldn't really go out into public like i'm in the pictures. it's a little too extreme. it was for a school thing but i like. i like it a lot.

Ohh, yes, In case anyone didn't know, the garments in the first few pictures have been created andmodelled by LOSERUNIT B) and his little sister.

What do all of you think of the recent pirate trend, a la Orlando bloom?
I think is perfect only for a baker and nobody else

Yes, this whole style is something to laugh at! I haven't seen anyone wearing "pirate chic" in person, but if I did, I would be inclined to point and laugh.

Just thought I'd mention that the designers Marithe and Francois Gibaud had some rather piratey looks in their last collection... :flower:
