Never knew such a thread existed! Very helpful! I only shop online and usually buy from brands that aren't available here, so it's really annoying when the online shop just states "This item fits true to size" for everything and it's just not true

Measurements: 5'7, 33.5 - 21.5 - 34.5

Jeans:
Current / Elliott (my faves): 24
J Brand: 24, 25, 26 (depending on the wash!)
D&G: 25, 26
Pepe Jeans: 26
Tally Weijl: 34 for non-stretch jeans and 32 for stretch jeans
most other brands / designers I've tried on: 25

And my ideal inseam lenght for jeans is 32in.

Tops and Jackets:
For tops I just always order the smallest size. Never had a problem with sizing in tops, except for tops from H&M and Zara being too short sometimes, because I have a long torso.

Shoes:
Office Shoes: UK3 / EU36
Converse: EU36.5
New Rock: EU37
Primark: EU37

Too bad this comparing sizes thing doesn't work for bras, that's the one thing I could never order online because I always have to try on at least four different sizes before finding the right one :p

5'4.5", 31.5 - 22.5 - 32.5

express 0 too big
topshop 2 or petite 0
j crew & zara both too big, free people usually too big
i like tops big so i usually buy a small or even a medium (err 2-4 or 6), xs is a "true fit" tho in most stores. for jackets/coats/blazers i usually am xxs/xs or 0/00
apc xs
steven alan xs big

dresses
apc xs sometimes too big
mbmj xs too big
free people 0 sometimes too big
topshop 2 or petite 0
pencey 0
h&m whatever the smallest size is..sometimes too big depending on the cut
i usually just buy the smallest size available and it usually fits pretty ok. if it's a more form-fitting dress i'll buy the next smallest size available coz i don't like skintight clothes, which sometimes ends up working and sometimes it totally doesn't :p
urban outfitters xs too big
stella mccartney 36 big
see by chloe 38 too big
french connection 0 sometimes too big

and in shoes i'm usually a 6.5 or 7. if they're flats or something i don't wear socks with i'll buy a 6.5
