Poketo is a network of artists, founded by the two of us, Ted Vadakan and Angie Myung. Totally eclectic and 100% unique. We first launched our artist wallets in 2003 with a handful of emerging artists, produced in very limited editions, they acted as artist promo pieces to accompany the art show we produced. Thanks, I think they both will! the other site seems to have a few different ones (older presumably) that I really like. Which one did you order for yourself?

it's smart
and nice as a promotion
and useful too

there is another company here who uses artist illustrations as well, except for t-shirts
and they also accept contributions from other artists/students
not necessarily all from their own personal network

Poketo also has some t-shirts and plates and other things on their website that I believe they ask artists to submit images for...

the wallets seem to draw the most attention though

strawb i'm keeping the Imiri Sakabashira one for myself (pictured as the first wallet in second column of attached pics..

This one is for me...
I just really liked the vibrant colors..
and it also reminded me a bit of miyazake films...

And the following I chose for my sisters and cousins..
I tried to match them to their personalities as best as I could with what they still had available...

the last one with the bird is in the poketo archive but i found it and ordered it on a website called greenergrassdesigns.com..

I almost got these giraffes but ended up getting the one with the blk/red birds and the green background because i thought it fit my cousin's taste better..
but i still really like the giraffes

me too.. the only reason I was put off is because when it's folded over the fish will be headless and that would irritate me slightly.

Miyazake films was exactly what I thought when I saw your one too! and picked that one for my friend since she loves them so..

my favourite ones are all archived unfortunately..

^^yeah there are so many great ones that are no longer available..
i received an email yesterday after i ordered telling me that that little bird with the umbrella is no longer available

so i didn't manage to get it after all...

but the woman from greenergrassdesign.com was really great about helping me find an alternate one in stock--she even sent me an email with some that they hadn't officially put up on their site yet.. which was very cool of her to do imo
