Polaroids

^ I have to agree. There's something so magical & ephemeral about the light in polaroids.

Two of my loves procreated and shat this out as the illegitimate spawn of toy cameras. It's really just a Holga lens on an SX-70, so I now have a Holga SLR with a self ejecting back. Here are a few shots off the first pack of film:

My first Polaroid emulsion lift, my besides ruining a pot and making my house smell and look like a meth lab (with me in it), I'm pleased with the results. This picture is NOWHERE near as blue and saturated and absolutely beautiful as the original, which was transferred onto watercolor paper.

The plane is a WWII B-24 Liberator metal sculpture at a Naval Hospital. Gunners on these planes had a life expectancy of 17 seconds after the shooting began. :(

the photos of Cathleen Naundorf are so beautiful. they remind me a lot of paolo roversis work though.

Wow, I love this thread! Thought I'd share a couple. The first one is of my siblings & I (probably taken by my father, he shares my love of Polaroids) & the other two were taken by me.

i really wanna get a poloroid camera .. i know they stopped doing the films what about the cameras ??

^they are discontinuing the cameras as well. they already stopped selling them at Targets and Walmarts. but you can probably get one off ebay or amazon

Are Fujifilm 100c instant films compatible with Polaroid 600 format cameras, or would I need to purchase an additional accessory? (Instant film backs?)

Figured this is probably the best thread to ask. Anybody know where I can find Type 108 film? I recently bought a Polaroid Land Camera Model J66, which (of course) takes a type of film that can't seem to be available anywhere.
