Prada 'Galleria' Handbags 2025 : Scarlett Johansson by Yorgos Lantimos

I honestly don’t hate it given what Prada has been giving us but it all feels disjointed as a whole. We have the cheap jewelry ads, then the OHP awkward smiles campaign, plus all the in between I just don’t get a cohesive message of what Prada is supposed to be at this point in its life. There was a moment where everything felt so cohesive from beauty to rtw etc and it’s feeling lost rn.

Wow! A beautiful Prada campaign!
It’s almost a pity that she is posing in such a way but quite beautiful composition.

I want to see what that shop has but the image itself is beyond boring and irrelevant. Looks like something Vuitton could do. Also, SJ doesn’t feel very Prada and isn’t very relevant, so quite weird.

if lara stone can be prada, she is basically the actres version of her ...i like when prada has some of the 1940/50s pin up more womanly models in the show that brakes the stick thin looks and this is SJ 3th ad for prada.

Prada is known to use actors that contrast the common prada/miu miu model look

because they see the mind/intellect(her acting choices and acclaim) as alignment to the brand and parada is the frame to the canvas of the personality

Probably the best of the film director campaigns so far.

ScarJo is still a weird choice for me considering she’s known to be a little lacking in nuance. I get that she was chosen for her work with Jonathan Glazer and that she’s become a director herself but the branding is still off. That being said I’d rather have seen her in the SS25 campaign instead of Carey Mulligan.

Prada to me is the most difficult brand to find the right actress for so I’m still annoyed that LV bought Lea Seydoux off of them. She was perfect and the pairing was mutually beneficial. At LV she’s kind of just there floating in their giant pool of ambassadors.

It's not yet another bland studio shoot, and it looks a lot more real than all those campaigns where the models seem pasted into the scene.

I don’t think this simple styling translates as well for her in print as it does on screen. She needs more glamour to really stand out when she’s not in motion
