Compare Prada to Prada. New, old- last season to this season. Keep it clean.

Surprisingly, the clothes in the Prada stores are very good, but I can't afford them. As another poster mentioned, it may just be the styling of the shows that is unpleasant.

This collection looks to me like an edgier Paul Smith.

The moment I saw that stupid basketball earring, I knew it was going to be awful...but in fact this is worse than I was expecting. It´s as sad and depressive as the "Brokeback Mountain" ending. Cheap cowboys hustlers with an expensive tag.

The whole collection feels like a "I am with stupid" t-shirt bought at an overpriced souvenir shop. Or better a "I went to Prada; and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" one!!

Raf left Dior, Jil Sander and CK because of what? i don't remember the reason...does he sell?...

Blue Square is cringe and embarrasing posting those "statements"....and because he kiss a** so much he establish connections in an industry where kissing a** is mandatory specially with the Italians....

Green Square was more honest about it, not much depth but he saw how ugly (not in a Prada way) was everything...

How Miuccia say yes to the same set from Raf's CK??? that is crazy for me...

I don’t think it’s as bad as last season. But it lacks a lot Prada spirit. I can see they’re collaborating and probably having interesting discussions, but what’s on the table (or runway) at the end is very lackluster and hermetic. I don’t know anyone (except Alexander fury?) who is actively buying into this. In stores it’s a completely overload of triangle merch save for a desirable car coat or two.

These flower prints on the coats and the boots are simply HIDEOUS.
The play with the fit is strange at first, but interesting as an idea. I wonder just who will actually it, if anyone.
I love the uneven collars and the shrunk tops

It is insufferable reading the commentary on this collection. The fashion industry is full of zombies bought by these brands

You know what, I am looking at the collection in pictures instead of video and seeing some things I didn't catch. Overkill on the Western motif, don't like the pants over the calf-length boots. The sweater with fringe detailing is especially atrocious. I think I got a little too excited that the music wasn't random techno and that there wasn't over branding. They also have 1 pair of piercings shoe from last collection for some reason?

I take my bravo back, this collection was a hot Zara Raf cheapo Alber mess. There was no eating of any sort and the collection does not deserve praise just for having better music and less branding! 😂

That’s been blatantly clear eve since Raf’s part is always the weakest link but unfortunately very dominant. And this weird but hilarious rebranding of Prada x Raf as the lesser, outlet budget-looking version of superior mainline Prada from the past— down to the minimum-effort budget outlet campaigns but, just outrageously overpriced merch, is reliably expected season after season now. More than this, it’s so disappointing to witness Miuccia participate in the creative-bankruptcy and corporate-mongering of her once visionary brand. There’s a reason why many retire at 65… And I just thank small blessing that my fashion heroes Tom Ford and Helmut Lang went out with such grace when they knew they were fading, and their passion clearly gone. Say what you will about Olivier Rousteing, but he’s still so passionate , so dedicated, and so in love with fashion. While Miuccia has become so cynical, so soulless, and so depressingly corporate: It’s become this dire financial recovery rather than a design vision of discovery. Because if you’ve been a Prada customer since the late-90s, then you already have all of the superior versions of these seperates offered here: Just style them in this desperately contrived TikToky fashion victim way that Prada’s become; this time, throw in a pair of cartoony cowboy boots and a cheap raggedy fake fur over your coat, and you’re up to date with current Prada. …That sand shearling coat (taken from A/W 2017) is nice tho…

Thanks as always for the pics, @vogue28. The shows are so tedious to make it through, nowadays. And I’d never thought I’d live to see the day when Prada’s designs/shows/campaigns would illicit nothing but outlet staples and the standards of a brand like Michael Kors: Basic, bland and boring. Just like I’d never thought I’d see the day when Law Roach is a more memorable stylist than Carine LMFAO

Beka is always ecstatic about every show and every PR he meets , he wouldnt look in the eye unless you are someone in fashnion lol
Green square thinks he/she is very cool being so blunt but truly there' s no difference between them and us here on tfs-we say the same thing , but the green scuare is just broadcasting it on IG.
After seeing this collection it dawned on me that CK had the same set !! I also cannot believe Miuccia allows Raf to dominate in the design process like that. I mean lets be honest , without Raf we wouldnt have such a scary collection that we saw yesterday .

this collection felt like they thought , oh, lets add cool prints and checks so it will sell well and mix colors cause colors are fun...i wanna look at customers who will voluntarily spend money on those cowboy boots with flowers. god help us all we dont see them in a womens variation
