I've been browsing various online stores this weekend and it's apparent that Prada is playing the game of catching-up with this collection. You can see the sneakers, the colors and the silhouettes everywhere – just without the brand's triangle. This collection is two seasons behind.

And one more thing: looking at the whole line-up again, I don't understand the choice of the conservative handbags with this type of clothes.

This is very disjointed and it feels a bit constricted. It's like the Miu Miu woman went for a casual appearance and went home after 15 minutes.

There are “cute” pieces but not a strong proposition overall.

Prada still seems very lost and it’s sad that they are now playing catch up to the where the industry is today when it was once the tastemaker

I'm glad that she's jumping onto the wearable eccentric eclectic bandwagon, albeit a little late, but this looks more like Prada does J W Anderson. She needs to go bolder, really go over the edge for some pieces, and especially for the bags, accessories and with the styling.

I feel like this collection showed a ton more confidence than season's past, once again we're seeing the "something chic, something old and something gimmicky" Prada approach that worked so well in the past. It's not groundbreaking but the chopstick buns, the granny embroideries and the silly scarfs bring back memories of the good old Prada I fell in love with.
