Prada S/S 2013 by Steven Meisel

Finally a good campaing in long time by Mr Meisel to Prada, clean, minimalist, chic , simple i like

Fantastic, how the minimal direction does justice towards the collection, making the items desirable and wearable. It's evident that even for a studio shoot thought has went into the outcome and it shows. Eva and Sasha have stolen the show for me.

Excellent casting but this leaves me cold. I wish their poses were more dynamic and not just "I'm standing here in Prada".

However I'm not sure about how I feel about the campaign. It looks a little boring. However campaigns online can look very different from how it looks in print. It doesn't have the aura of being in a magazine. I hated the Chanel campaign online but I loved it on print. I hope that Sasha's pics get more circulation. Because those are truly the best pics.

I am.. whelmed. If the clothes weren't such a joke, this campaign would feel much better to me and I'd be able to appreciate its minimal aesthetic. The new girls are beige and completely forgettable as well.

Really great. The cast and the styling is impeccable, and I really appreciate the minimal approach.

Let's not forget to thanks Ashley for casting these models
Though I would have prefered (expected) Daria Strokous and Aymeline Valade. They would have been perfect for this, moreso than some others...

Super happy for Sung Hee (though I would've liked to see more diversity in an otherwise stellar cast), but this is so underwhelming to look at.

So happy for Irina and Maartje! It's a nice and simple campaign, a bit boring but nice. I do like though that they're emphasizing the ready to wear other than the shoes and accessories like most seasons. I love Irina, Kristen, Maartje, and Sasha's shots. Hoping for more images with the amazing origami dresses.

The shots against the black backdrop look great. Not sure about the ones against the gradient gray.

Hm, at first, I was like, oh no, this looks dull. Well, then I looked at that stellar cast. And I thought about how much I disliked the collection and how different and almost wearable it looks here.

Completely baffling.....Meisel has pulled off the extraordinary, managing to make the most vile clothes look halfway decent. How they hell has he done this?
Ordinary studio shots brought to life with some the best models around and all of them working wonders with some clean, crisp shots.
I have to concede that this collection will almost certainly look great in upcoming editorials, but those flat shoes will always be hideous no matter what.

What an amazing campaign  , with stellar cast, i really like it. Sorry i don't like this collection, but Meisel made to see the clothes to look great & definetly one of the best Prada/Meisel campaigns.

Just as boring like the mens except with colours. Think the cruise collection fair better!

I love it! Great cast, great "restrained" styling and even though there are so many models each gets a single page :)
