Today is the 14th anniversary of Princess Diana's death. And I still remember that day very clearly in my head. All these years later (I still cannot listen to Elton John's Candle in The Wind without getting teary eyed). RIP our dear English Rose. She had such great style but more then that she had great spirit and kindness.

i have read the andrew morton book and also the tina brown book on diana. can anyone recommend anything else to read on her?

hopefully, i will see her wedding gown this month. it is at a casino a few hours from my home.

of course a casino isnt the rightful place for it. but i'm just grateful i have a chance to see it!

i saw diana's gown over the weekend in connecticut. here is my photo of it.

the parasol in the front was not used as it wasnt raining on her wedding day.

Have you read A Royal Duty by Paul Burrell? I know there's alot of controversy about it but I really enjoyed it and the insight into Diana behind the scenes

Thanks for sharing that article justaguy! It was quite an interesting read, a bit sad actually, since I was reading it with the full knowledge of everything that happened to Princess Di a few years later. I think the most astute part of the article though was the line that read, "women project their fantasies and prejudices on her like mad." There is quite a bit of truth to that sentence, isn't there? Absolutely love that skyblue gown, still stunning to look at all these years later!
