Definitely looks like Ali Michael. The styling is questionable and this shot could just be any picture from Terry's blog (and there's a gazillion pics of Ali on there anyway) but I don't know, I kind of like it?

^Yep they changed the fonts, I guess because it's an anniversary issue. I haven't bought an issue of Purple since 2010, so I hope the contents will give me a reason to get this one. The cover is typical Terry, unexciting and repetitive.

it looks too bland and random for an anniversary issue.. and i don't get why they choose ali.. she's not a top model, not a promising new face and doesn't fit the purple aesthetic that much..

i figured out to see kinda newton-esque woman on the cover. it should look in my opinion as a cover of his sumo book. very womanized, overexposed and racy nude image...since it`s anniversary, i suppose, they should celebrate their strong point

This is pretty awful and disappointing. She looks like an adolescent / child. I feel quite uncomfortable with this cover shot. I suspect they are going to get a lot of media attention / criticism about this. Its a shame they have to resort to controversy like this to stand out from the crowd. The content is strong enough, they really don't need to do things like this!

I'm actually disappointed by this cover. and i hate then new logo. I'm actually looking forward to Rei's feature and Richard Prince's book but so far it doesnt look like an excited issue, esp. considering it's the anniversary issue

The only thing I like is the new mast head, it looks fantastic, aside from that the cover image is appalling.

Happy to see Ali making a comeback but this isn't that good, I wish she was either wearing a shirt or giving more of a high fashion look, not a smile. Hope she has an ed that isn't as bad.
