Pushing Daisies

when i think of Chuck all that comes to mind is Zooey Deschanel

im so happy that they already started filming!! i really hope there isnt another strike

oh man, i just discovered this show and it's AMAZING! i don't think i've been this excited over a show since...forever? :D

i just hope it doesn't get cancelled :( brian fuller doesn't seem to have the best of luck keeping shows around.

The 1st season just started here.

And I'm in love with this show!

Lee Pace is gorgeous.
:heart::heart::heart:
yes he is so great. Have you seen The Fall it is another movie with him in it. It is a really imaginative movie that takes place in late 1910s california but also goes into this insane fantasy world I highly recommend it.

Same. I love that show. It such a shame that a lot of times the best shows, movies, music etc. don't get enough attention while something mediocre gets lots.

Pushing Daisies just started here in Germany!

I totally love it so far and I'll surely keep on watching it.

Quality television took a serious hit on Thursday with news that ABC has opted not to order additional episodes of Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money for this season. The network isn't commenting, but multiple sources confirm that all three shows have effectively been canceled.

The one bright spot: The ratings-challenged trio will complete production on their 13-episode orders (Daisies already has, while Eli and DSM have an episode or two to go). Of course, completing the episodes and actually airing them are two totally different things.

"It's all true," Daisies creator Bryan Fuller tells me. "I'm so very proud of this show and grateful for everyone's hard work in bringing it to life.

"We would love to continue telling this season's arcs in a comic book format, just to tie up all the loose strings -- and believe me, there are plenty," he continues. "That way we can tell a stand alone movie story that doesn't have all the baggage from the second season stories -- and those bags are packed!" (Watch the video below for scoop on one of the loose strings Fuller speaks of.)

So depressing! :(

This sucks. :( Did ABC really even promote it much this season?
No :judge: People on the Pushing Daisies forum says the only time they really ever promoted it was on the end of the episode before the next one! And ABC claims it gave it "their best shot", hmph. :censored:

Pushing Daisies got cancelled, how depressing, it's one of the better tv shows around now :(

I agree.....cancelling this show is a joke. It was fresh, innovative, charming and surreal, and totally different from anything else right now.
Lee Pace, Anna Friel and Kristin Chenoweth were all fantastic too.
What a waste.:(

Yup, I doubt Pushing Daisies doesn't have steady viewership, loyal fans and all...Bad move, really :innocent:

The most aggravating thing is if the strike hadn't happened, the first season would have been a complete one but we only got 9 episodes then when the 2nd one comes along they barely promote it to begin with and expect it to do well like that (or they claim that when really they were very stupidly looking for an excuse to cancel it). Screw you, ABC!
