NOW I feel like a loser! lol!

MJ I think we have what they call 'fangrrl syndrome'. Once a fangrrl, always a fangrrl. It's ok. As long as we don't wear purple jumpers with bum length hair, glasses and acne, we are all good.

even when you're upset, you are hilarious!! and you forgot braces!
:D

gorgeous pic, though!!!

This is horrible. What a horrible way to die.

I had such a teenage crush on him! This is sad.

I could not believe it when I saw the thread title...in shock! I also used to obsess over him when I was a kid and this has brought back so many school memories for me (collecting posters and all that cringeworthy stuff)...I'm so sad at this news

I don't think obsessions are necessarily healthy but I think you can learn stuff from them.

Sleepers was such a big part of my childhood, I think it cemented my general dislike of harsh prison systems. I mean it was only juvie but prisons must be worse. As well as my dislike for any sort of capital punishment.

Brad taught me about Led Zepp. In the Client, when he tells Susan Sarandon that Kashmir is their best song. He wasn't wrong!

Brad taught me about Frankie Valli & The Four seasons. I used to listen to 'Walk Like A Man' endlessly and imagine hanging out in new york city, hell's kitchen in the heat.

He made me go to Hell's kitchen. It isn't really bad anymore.

I read the Different Seasons Steven King quartet because of him. I didn't really like it but hey. I remember my friends were freaked out by some of the sexual scenes in the Apt Pupil book.

More embarrassment.

I could tell you anything you needed to know about Wichita.

Some reviewed said he had a 'dead-eyed sangfroid' in Apt Pupil. I used to use that phrase as often as ordinary day to day speech would allow.

I used to dream of going to Knoxville, Tennessee. Which is probably not that fun of a place but hey. There used to be a reason.

i didn't know this.. :o:(

"Brad Renfro's obituary reveals he had a son
By Danielle, CBB Publisher
bradrenfro_2.jpg
CBB Reader Amanda, from Knoxville, TN, called our attention to the mention of a son referred to only as "Y Renfro" in recently deceased actor Brad Renfro's obituary in the Knoxville News Sentinel. We were not aware that he had a son, nor has any other online outlet. If you know more about his son, or perhaps his son's mother, please email us at [email protected].
Brad, 25, passed away on Tuesday, January 15th of a suspected alcohol/prescription drug overdose. His funeral is being held tonight at 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice. You may leave a note in this guestbook."

Now rumors will fly about who the mom is. Although I'm guessing if it was anybody in Hollywood we would have known about it.

It seems to say in quite a few places that the mother is called Reiko and the son, Yamato...

Growing up I had 4 actor-boy crushes...

Brad Renfro... just died.

Edward Furlong... a complete mess.

Justin Pierce... hung himself in 2000.

Johnathan Brandis... hung himself in 2003.

If something happens to Macaulay Culkin my childhood love is essentially over =(

^^ i know what u mean... when i heard about Brad's dead i just can't stop thinking on J. Brandis :(

Mine were Leonardo Dicaprio. Fine and well touchwood. Devon Sawa. Hmmmmm. Vincent Kartheiser. Career-less I think. And well Brad.

And yes the son is Yamako. I have no idea about the mom. THAT really does my childhood in.

I think Jonathan Brandis was a bit before my time?

^Do you remember the tv show SeaQuest? He was in that.
Also when he was younger he was in the Neverending Story sequel.

I don't think we really caught on to him in the UK. Not even in Sugar or J17 or all those teeny bopper mags. His career wasn't particularly noteworthy from what I can make out on IMDB.

But Brad. Brad....

Bugger.

i had much more crushes, but renfro, and i keep writing renfro, cos brad reminds me and well people on brad pitt , but that 'list' you made is really frustrating... all these guys had the looks and talents, and well they were oh they were so dreamy... this is sad and beyond sad. this is wrong and unfair. LL and paris and BSpears can survive anything.....

GOd, that was just awful.
any news on furlong, i mean he is still breathing...
