i wish someone would take that post down because it's disgusting and i dont think they deserve for people to read it.

I found out today, and I still can't believe it.
He was one of my favourite actors (well, he still is). He was very talented and I adored his smile.
It's really sad, I feel sorry for his daughter. R.I.P, Heath!

it cant be as bad as ETonline having a live stream of the "Heath Ledger death scene"

they make it seem like he died right on the street..
its so terrible.

I'm in Perth right now and I have to say that the media here, that I've seen anyway, has been remarkably and impressively restrained. They are reflecting on the positive parts of his life and refraining from the ridiculous speculation that seems to be rife on the internet, and, from the sounds of it, a good number of foreign (ahem, US) networks.

I have to say that I find it repulsive that so many people leap immediately to drug overdose from the mere mention of "pills" - while it's possible, why jump to the most dramatic and scandalous conclusion? The most important thing is that a young, talented and loved father, son, brother is dead. We should be focusing on that fact, and not the fictions that are surrounding it.

i thought this was a joke....
i just can't believe he's dead. it's so sad

RIP

I think those people must have something mentally wrong with them

Read this on the dailymail.co.uk website

As police began an investigation into the cause of the 28-year-old's untimely death, some of Hollywood's brightest stars including Nicole Kidman and Mel Gibson paid their condolences to the troubled actor's family.

But the most revealing - if ambiguous - comment came from Jack Nicholson.
Hinting he was aware Ledger was battling demons, the Hollywood veteran, who played the Batman's most famous Joker, said in London last night: "I did tell him."

What does Jack's quote mean? That he warned him to take better care of himself? or that jack ahd a similar problem? Just wondering....:(

I didn't read the article, but this is just terrible! Some people are so sick. I feel like I keep saying that, but so many things people have done (the media especially) have been making me SO angry! The way they are handling Heath's death is immoral! And now this?!? How can people be so cruel? I hate radical religious groups like this! Yes, there I said it. I HATE THEM!

I'm sorry but all of this is just making me so sad and upset... Heath was such a talented guy and I've been a fan of him since "10 Things I Hate About You" came out. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy, especially towards those he cared about, and I loved the fact that he was truly interested in being a good actor, and didn't get all caught up in the fame.

I am a Christian and I believe this to be DISGUSTING!! I DO NOT WANT ANY OF YOU GUYS TO BELIEVE THAT ALL CHRISTIANS BELIEVE THAT, BECAUSE WE DON'T! I DON'T. BY PROCLAMING THIS ABOUT HEATH, THEY ARE SINNING AND USING THE NAME OF GOD IN VAIN!! THOSE ARE PEOPLE THAT GIVE CHRISTIANITY A BAD NAME!! (I DO NOT WANT TO START A RELIGIOUS DEBATE, BUT I WANT YOU GUYS TO UNDERSTAND THAT!) I CANNOT STAND THEM

When I found out, I started crying. He was so young, not much older than me. It's not fair he was taken away from his family, and especially from his daughter so soon.
And that poster thing is f*cking disgusting. I'm not Christian, I have respect for them, but this is seriously too low.

i couldn't turn on the news this morning w/o seeing the video of his body being removed (I chose not to watch that footage when it was first on TMZ). I don't think its in best form for the morning news to be showing that while they were reporting the story.

as for the Phelps protesting the funeral, they are disgusting people. They are opportunistic and know nothing of what they preach by disrespecting a persons life.

Such sad news ...My thoughts are with his family who should be left in peace at such a time.

greenlandgem
i don't think people here , including me, mean overdose in a way that is reflective of some junkie. you can easily overdose on xanax, there is a reason why prescriptions have limits. even if you take. 5 mg over that can totally throw something off.
for example anything could taken it over the edge. did you know that grapefruit juice can not be taken with xanax? who knew.
so if something as simple as that can kill someone, then any combination of factors can take you there too.

How can the TMZ people sleep at night?

Good question... this certainly isn't the first time those people have proven themselves to be veritable assholes.

RIP Heath, another James Dean or Marilyn Monroe- taken too soon.

What does Jack's quote mean? That he warned him to take better care of himself? or that jack ahd a similar problem? Just wondering....:(

i think jack was talking about the role of the joker, what a toll it takes to play a character that in depth

Carla Williams, the mother of Heath’s former fiancee Michelle Williams, was spotted in Brooklyn earlier this morning. She was seen leaving the apartment that Michelle shared with Heath and their 2-year-old daughter, Matilda Rose, before the couple separated this past September.

it wouldnt surprise me if that playing the Joker role has in some way messed with Heath.

all the stress to portray such a character, and especially trying to play a character that Jack has played and trying to fill his shoes could be very stressful..

hopefully Heath went in peace
