id expect that from NY POST. who even buys that paper?
Anyway, it's natural for the press to say the most absurd thing. Nothing else is happening in NY at the moment, so I guess they have to go there.
I think it all went down to fast for any cover up.
I found out literally 45 minutes in. I happened to be home when the news broke.
 
I do not want to disrespect any of you guys with what I'm about to say, but YOU GUYS HAVE NEVER KNOWN HEATH!! I am not saying that he did drugs or that he didn't. How can you know if he ever did drugs? Some of you might have met him for five minutes, but you guys never knew him!! So please just because he's dead do not pretend that you really knew him. I understand that you guys are pissed off that the press are saying that he did drugs(and it's true they have no right saying that without proof), but what if he did take drugs? What if he did go out with Helena, MK and Gemma behind Michelle's back? Just like you I have never met Heath, but I was a big fan. But I won't say "Oh he could have not have been drugs cause he didn't take drugs". The reality is; I am a fan of Heath's movies, but I have never knew him outside a movie theater

How do you REALLY know if none of us REALLY knew him. It wouldn't be the place to really make such an announcement, now would it? But if you want me to go there!!!! I will!

People here are touched by his work, so, get over it.
 
FYI: excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me, Marie Carmelle... you're in a forum that have LOADS of people that have connections (fashion, PR and otherwise) so do not generalize.

You don't think I was touch by his work? Seriously I was!! I was touched by his work, but I did not know him!! You(or others) may have known him, you may believe that he didn't do drugs, but what if he did? You cannot be sure, can you?
 
You know, when a 28 yo man drops dead like this it would be bizarre not to speculate about medications. Really. I don't see why you are all so upset about that particular point. I guess it's either surprising to you or a somehow morally wrong. I don't dislike medications, so I see no shame in that, hence, I can't think speculating about that is disrespectful. It's just idle speculation - people are shocked, surprised and want to know what happened. Very natural really.

i personally don't like medication and i was hooked to the point of depending on it that it eventually did not work because my body was so used to all that crap... so i was strong enough to control it and try to be healthy naturally. but of course if it's really necessary to take meds do so, however, do not abuse the use of it.

Heath's a brilliant actor. He was one of the most talented. His father is right when he said he had an old soul in a body of a young man. It sux that the most talented is the most unfortunate in life ....

strange you mentioned that ... i was in the area in a meeting when it happened. the sweep of the news ,verbally, was jawdropping. Literally a shock to all our faces. ..then mayhem... eerily it felt like 9-11 with the sudden shock and dismay ...it still brings chills.

I've seen films with him in the past when he was fairly new and I thought
nothing of him. But when he was featured in Brokeback Mountain I
found a whole new appreciation for him as an actor. I just said to myself,
"this guy is going to be up there with the likes of Brando, Clint Eastwood,
Robert Redford someday." etc. etc.
I still can't get over this everyone. My heart still aches with sadness. :cry:
 
I don't understand why everyone is all up in arms about mary-kate. I don't feel much sympathy for her at this point.

Quite true. The fact that he took the time (on his comedy show nonetheless) to make a serious heartfelt statement speak volumes.
 
^I agree!! no sympathy for Mary Kate, and I love how she's issuing statements that she was just a friend, uhuh, that's why the masseuse rang her 4 times..she just doens't want any negative publicity relating to it.
I am really sad about it but really over the media coverage. It is sad news , but not any sadder when any regular 28year old male/female parent dies.. under any circumstance.
The media needs to leave it alone and move on, they're just milking it for all its worth.

what an idiots... i am not sure that pete even knew who are they talking abput, not to mention that stupid reporter made pete belive that heath died cos of trucks????? OMG....

why asking pete? let's ask every single celeb, or just random people on streets in every country so they can make up stories for next 12 issues of the stupid magazines,so they don't need to attack someone else for a while.
