i really wouldn't call her a stylist...
she's more of a personal shopper...

does she work on any photos?...

Yes, I believe her job is to stand back about 10 feet so she's out of the shot

I've seen some of her editorial work, it's alright, I think she is better at doing people.

I have no problem with her having wrinkles. I just feel that lying about ones age is quite passe no matter who does it. Even Jennifer Lopez, who has flawless skin lies about her age. I just don't get why people do that. I agree that as long as a stylist does their job it doesn't matter what they look like but I keep hearing Rachel listed as 34 somehow that doesn't mesh to me. I don't think it impends on her work as a stylist though nor do I feel it makes her ugly.

Rachel has done an admirable job with young Hollywood. Her gang has really set the bar, they look styled all day everyday and I like that. It creates an interesting candid style that most actresses could not keep up without the aid of a style professional. Looking at celebrities has become more interesting thanks in part to Rachel. Before there was really only a very very small subset of stars who wore anything even halfway interesting. Now I think that 9 out of 10 starlets are really attempting to dress well or showing an interest in fashion, whether or not they work with her. I will be interested in seeing where her book goes and how well it does.

And her styling for the Marchesa show was fabulous.

That said I disliked her collaboration with Judith Lieber I was expecting something a little less blingy.

The style of her girls seems to have gotten less bohemian and more beatnik, fitting with the latest trends so I think that the original "Zoe look" is kind of over at the moment or at the very least the look has moved into its next incarnation.

^ I agree she looks far more than 34 and maybe she's lying ... OTOH, with bad genes and lots of sun worship you could get that much damage ... I think ...

You must admit that she did a great job restyling Nicole Richie

I completely agree with you. Nicole looks so much better now than she did in simple life 1

Oh, there was nothing to restyle, her style was nonexistent, Zoe had an easy job, starting with a blanc page.:p

Maybe she has a Feb 29 birthday?

I wish we got more pictures of her. I always love the way she wears her long dresses-

I think she is pretty anyways... I mean we are what we are and I think it's great that she is against plastic surgery. That is so unusual nowadays...

No one can MAKE another person an individual...

it says a lot about the clients she has that they just put on the clothes she gives them ...like little puppets...
i guess they have no indivuality and no personality and they pay her to give them hers???...

**anyway- a stylist ALWAYS dresses people in things that they like...
even in editorials...
that is why you are paid as a stylist....for your STYLE...

but i think the whole idea of regular people paying someone to dress them is very odd...
it's like paying someone to decorate your house...
why would you want someone else's personality in your bedroom...?
your most intimate private place....

people got problems......
too much money...and they are too lazy to develop any style of their own...
becuase it actually takes some work...
it starts out as a gift...
but then you have to develop it into skill and hone it during the process...

ah well--it's only hollywood...
it's not like it's REAL fashion or anything.......

Amen.

i scratch my head alittle when i hear ppl praising lohan and richie for "their" style. i remember them merely 1,5 years ago, wearing tube tops and platform shoes and pink tinted sunglasses

Rachel Zoe just shows me why I stay out of the sun. I would never want to look like that at her age! My grandmother stayed out of the sun her whole life, and if she didn't she wore a high spf. Her lines aren't even as deep as Zoe's-- and she's 84. Not even exagerrating.

But about her job, I think it's stupid to think that someone is so amazing just for dressing people. I'm pretty sure I could pick out a nice outfit with basically no budget.

And on top of that, I don't like the style that she has marketed. It looks alright on Nicole, and when Mischa uses her it looks fine, but I'm sick of the five million copycats that I see in magazines or on the street.

geez her face is actually made of leather:huh:

i think she actually looked nice after she had been photoshopped, but here.. not so much...

thanks for sharing them though:lol:

I like the dress she is wearing. She should get some botox on that forehead.
