Raf Simons Men's F/W 2020.21 Paris

Bravo Raf! I haven’t been excited for a Raf show in a long time! I used to collect his clothes and I stopped somewhere around 2010. This is one of the first shows in a long time to resonate with me creatively and as a consumer!
The new boot is very nice and the trouser shape is very beautiful. Amazing outerwear.

fantastic show, great set and music.

For me, Raf’s best work in menswear recently was for Calvin. Despite not being very Calvin, it was fresh in terms of colors and the knitwear was impressive. I was naive enough to think that he would continue with that direction for his own line....

There’s nothing memorable or even exciting. Who is this for?
Like it or not, his menswear for Calvin was directional. This is just there...Like Pierpaolo’s latest collection.

He managed to make me hate fur... No thanks. God I miss him at Jil Sander. I feel like it was the only time he was relevant enough to me.

He went back to doing real clothes and for that he deserves my applause. Last season's sloppy rags were rock bottom for him.

It’s obvious now that what made his tenure at Jil Sander so iconic was his right hand man at the time, Patrick Von Ommeslaeghe.

Raf has never been able to reach those same highs without him.

There are actually some great timeless pieces here if you look past his usual gimmicky nonsense.

Those coats are quite wonderful and the sharpness of the silhouette. I want him to strip off the gimmicks like what he did at Jil Sanders. Instead, he just throw the gimmicks on tops of one another and the collection becomes unmemorable, streetwear nightmare.

My favourite collection of the season. So good! Love how elegant this feels but still very Raf. The outerwear is outstanding as always, I'm usually not a fan of fur for men but he made it with such a swagger here. And the shoes! I'll be in line for those

Is there a video of this uploaded yet?

I'm not sure what to think of the collection yet. I'd like to see it in motion.
