Raf Simons S/S 2017 Florence

Like it, love that plaid mao-collar shirt and the cropped burgundy sweater. The 'bodegon' shirts look cool too. There are many bautiful pieces.

Off-topic. It's like the third time Raf is using that bleu shirt with the bleach stains (?).

I think I'm gonna cry for how exciting it is seeing Patti Smith and Mapplethorpe here.
Down to all the goth stuffs, the canvas collages, big open chest frames, the function keen fabrics. Especially the trousers, damn they good. Hail to the beautiful 80s' underground spirit. And the leisure take of preppy bit.

Raf Simons mens is better that his Dior

The Shirt he worn is same as he worn during his last? Dior Show. Maybe he has 10 same?

I don't know if I've ever liked a Raf collection this much. Definitely one of his best collections and I'm just a complete sucker for photo prints.

See, this is exactly why I sincerely hope he doesn't go to Calvin Klein.

I feel like he's slowly but surely starting to reconnect w/ the old Raf that I used to be amazed by, before those silly misadventures in womenswear, and bring that back to a more mature male. It's kind of like him saying "My 20-something year old customer from 15 years ago is now in his 30s and 40s, and this is what I can see him wearing." Kind of.

I'm still not entirely convinced by this collection, but it's better than what he's done in recent times. And by coming to America to work for Calvin, I just think that'll throw a big wrench into his own menswear line. I mean, haven't we learned that the whole 2-labels-1-designer approach very rarely works out in the end?

You know, never been of fan of those photo-collage patchwork designs, nor the full, oversized voluminous tops with the skinny leggings proportions for men… But my god— do I appreciate Raf so much more now, in comparison to the likes of a glaring lesser like JW Anderson, who does that similar ragtag silhouette. Raf is a master at that sort of aesthetic, and so disciplined that despite all the raggedness, it's never limp and sloppy, but sharp and clean.

The suggestion of a 14th-century gentleman traveller clashing with the New Romantic movement of the early-80s is masterfully presented here.

it's so good as always

damn please can he just expand to do womenswear too!!!

I like it. I have the impression that Raf's feels so much confortable doing menswear, I don't know if you guys agree with me.

I'm not a Raf Simon's guy, the clothes that he do don't fit well on me, but I know some guys that would look nice on them. However the looks 14, 17, 54, 55 it's something that I can think about.

What i love about this collection is that it shows a new maturity in Raf's designs.
He has this new-found hype thanks to a new generation and he is proposing something grown-up (but not too much), slightly innovative and yet, still challenging.

I was a fan of his "suit"/more grown up 2010-2013 era and those last few years, he was kinda inconsistent. This is the a good "compromise" between those two sides of Raf.

Flawless collection.

It's the first time I've fallen in love with Raf's menswear. I really like the proportions here, the prints are unexpected in a way and that knitwear is just fabulous but at the same time this collection would be quite hard to wear. I mean the SM vibe is too strong here to transport it straight into casual wear imho.

If anyone finds a video of this collection, can you please post?

Such a good collection, but I really want to see it in movement.

I'm in love with every bit of this collection. Just perfect.
