Don't enjoy it as much as I did with their Resort 2024 collection, but it is quintessential Ralph Lauren and that I can appreciate.
Was surprised by the gold liquid jersey, and to make a well fitted jacket out of it is a remarkable feat for what can be an unforgiving fabric.

This has ALWAYS been his niche and I feel like only recently have people finally accepted this. I remember people used to write him off as 'boring' and 'repetitive' while somehow giving Chanel and Armani a pass.

Ralph and Armani are the masters of keeping it classic yet not boring. His shows are always sophisticated yet effortless. The sophisticated crowd is a great reflection of the brand. Great casting too, Christy is a true supermodel very regal even with that little malfunction, both reacted like true pros.

Ralph Lauren is in a league of his own in fashion and in NYFW.
This is what I expect from fashion: good cast, a sense of identity and quality.
It may not rock the world but the cut is exquisite. He is still the best in that kind of American « Aspirational » Sportswear.

I am really not convinced by the last very colorful part. I think it brings down the impact of the collection.
Indeed, Armani and Ralph Lauren represents that kind of Aspirational, quintessential classic style that can never be out of style. The difference is that Armani really shines in Haute Couture.
When you look at Armani Prive or Ralph Lauren Collection, you get the lesson. It’s a pity in NYFW people don’t aspire to that level of quality!

I know she was popular. Donatella particularly liked her. But I don't remember her being a "top" girl. I even seem to remember a rumor that she only went into modelling because her parents pushed her into it LOL. I could be wrong though.
