I find it funny when people say "Same Old Same Old" about Ralph Lauren.
Its true, it is the same old but it must be working. They have a gatefold or 2 page spread on the inside cover in every single September issue I have received this week, they have little to no actual editorial space in many magazines and they are still one of the best and highest earning companies in the world.
Ralph Lauren is a lifestyle brand. This is the lifestyle their clientele live. Super hot, super rich, super fabulous jet-setters and Hamptons holidayers. You will NEVER get a campaign from Ralph Lauren with the same artistic flair or edginess as Prada or Raf Simons...because that is not what Ralph Lauren care about as a brand.
Relatable, Secure, Trusted. We may as well just congratulate the entire cast and photographer on making, yet again, a beautiful set of images, an preempt the exact same thing next season.
