I will not lie, I was not amazed with her original test
but this new haircut plus her amazing runway appearances have more than made up for it
I never use the word, but she is the epitome of chic. especially Parisian chic

OMG - No seriosuly. This makes me happy. I do not know her but from the first time I seen her I was absoltely mesmorized...The haircut was a shock, I qiockly got over it after a member here said a few smart things that changed my mind....

I hope we can get a video of her talking or something... She is absolutely brilliant, she really is.

It's too early to tell, but unless she's a flash-in-the-pan success, Ranya might usher in a new kind of beauty, as Gemma Ward did a few years ago. I'm not sure what to call her appeal, but it's new and different and incredibly striking. It's similar to Patricia Schmid's appeal, and it's sad that Patricia wasn't as hyped.

Ranya is not the first one to sport that haircut though. There was another model a few seasons ago (id anyone?), but she didn't have Ranya's beauty, so I guess fewer people noticed her.

Me too I think she has to be one of the sweetest girls... And I totally agree about her "chic" appeal. She just has this thing that makes you look twice (or more.. )

Wow. She isn't the sort of model I appreciate ordinarily (the line "pout like a starving Russian" comes to mind) and the new Spock hair strikes me as a bit gimmicky but her face is so haunting - the sort you can't get out of your head once you look at her. Despite being the antithesis of everything I find attractive, I think I love her look!
