and sorry i didn't know (because i didn't do the search process) we had a thread about the clubmasters ....

I'd like them a hell of a lot more if they weren't so trendy

Are they really that trendy - as the wayfarers are ?! ....
and we shouldn't be scared by the trends .... but i'm in the same situation ...
for instance this summer i gave up the wayfarer (they broke, too .... ) and go for a pair of vintage Carrera, i bought for 15euro :

I wouldn't say, they are as popular as the wayfarers. But I've seen a lot of people wearing them. Just wait for next summer.

Berlin rocks, I understand. I loved them (as evidenced earlier in this thread) but when I tried them on....no dice. They really made my teeth look weird. I know that's a very bizarre thing to say but I noticed that when I smiled while wearing them it really emphasized my teeth. I have an oval face so most things look at least alright on me but these....nope.

These have been my father's driving sunglasses since the 90's. I love them, even moreso than Wayfarers. I've even tried stealing my dad's, but his head is unfortunately much larger than mine

I prefer the Wayfarer, but I have adored them 'cause that was what my father wore, and I used to love playing with his glasses.

I like these a little less, and somehow I just don't think the design will suit me well. But I guess I'll never know until I try.

I have a pair of white vintage ones with my prescription glasses which I totally love, they look so very 50s on.

Sammy Ronson also look way cool in her black ones I think.

Are people liking this trend? I just found the Tortoise ones yesterday after searching for weeks. I was only able to find the black ones before and I wanted brown. I'm not sure I'm going to keep them because I don't think they are as comfortable as my normal Wayfarers, but we'll see. I have 30 days to decide.

Are they as popular as it seems? They are pretty much sold out everywhere.

i have the tortoise ones as i thought the black looked too dark, they are not as comfy but they are so gorgeous and also less common than wayfarers, which everyone has!!! I think you either love them or hate the clubmasters though...and i adore them!
