A beautiful young sophisticate from Dallas, Texas, who stands out. Vogue It
Because she is the only one of her siblings that is model type, has a name that sounds like an old movie star, Rel Dade, doesn't have a Texan accent and is really tall. Last season was her first outing as a fashion model in NY. She did Valentino Couture exclusively in Paris. Since then she has walked for Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Hermès, Onne Titel, Marc by Marc Jacobs to name a few and has done editorials for Interview magazine, Vogue, ID, Numero, Zoo and Trace, so far.
It's interesting to see someone who has just started, and have the confidence and poise which is rare, no doubt this is a plus and beneficial in a industry that is people driven. As she talks about participating in a recent project that gave her the opportunity to work with "young kids" (her same age) she knew she had inspired their potential. I could see she too was inspired.
She talks about it with such pride, helping others seems to be her destination. She clearly knows what she wants, and to be a nurse is the plan when the glamourous life fades. I left Rel feeling like I had met someone quite special.
