I love Vogue Espana - alas, most of the gifts don't arrive with the copies I get, but I have noticed there are threads on the vogue.es forums devoted to what free tat comes with what magazine that month.

UK magazines do that a lot too - free books, bags, vests, T-shirts and so on.

The great problem of the magazines in Spain is this habit of giving things with every issue... shoes, sandals, purses of plastic, glasses, agendas, cereals!...It does that many girls buy a magazine depending on the gift, not on the content. Because of it Vogue España cannot be an avant-gardist or shocking, because anybody is going to estimate it.




Marie Claire España, Vogue España, Elle España, Glamour España, Telva, Woman, Ragazza... To the majority of buying of magazines the magazine is all the same to them, which they want is a frightful gift and miser

I remember when I went to Madrid for springbreak or semana santa, i bought Vogue Espana and a bunch of other magazines and all the gifts I got with it (mostly cheap sunglasses and wallets) i gave them to my family as souvenirs from Spain

Vogue Portugal usually has great re-printed covers

I think he means no one's expects Vogue España to be risky.
No one is going to see it coming

and its true Vogue Esapana seems to use more feminene/sexy models. They even made Kate Moss look sexy

I like some of the covers Vogue Mexico, but they need to work at it more

^I like most of the Vogue Espana covers but it's just always the same thing, over & over again. The covers are always summery, it's unbelievable ... what a fault of creativity. Well at least they make good covers which is good.
