Its like a deconstruction revolution.............. and then a pair of oversized dead guinea pigs on their feet. it seems that ugly footwear is a new trend this season.

this collection is very student-like. albeit a good student.

i've seen the show and i actually thought it was a very natural and soft evolution of what rick always does best - jackets. it probably couldn't have been a clearer message this time, you could hardly see anything but a hint of a jersey skirt hem poking out from underneath - in the end, everything else just looked like an accessory to enhance the jackets!

the shoes are actually short ankle wedges that are not much different from the ones that helmut did in f/w 2004. just that the decorative hair trim was longer and softer here.

I like this. I agree with Tricot. Owens makes great jackets and this has all of his trademark use of handkerchief hems, succinctly draped forms, and a sharp but at the same time raw aesthetic. I would prefer more clothes, but you have to admit he's sure got an uncanny knack for animal furs and leathers.
