I paid a visit to the gallery showing Rick furniture today. Most of his chairs, I was hoping to see the huge day-bed with the high back but unfortunately that was not present.
He did have some amazing lamps and fur throws.
I purchased these Rick Owens boots from LVR yesterday and I just got confirmation that they've shipped! I cannot wait for them to arrive! It was love at first sight, they invoked the batgirl in me.
I don't know how to attach the image. Sorry that I had to link.
Fabulous, y0shi. I would love to see pictures when they arrive. I had my eye on those in the beginning of these season (also the knee-high pair), but I'm not sure I could pull them off. BerlinRocks - thanks for the editorial. That leather mini.....
aaah that leather/mink jacket is one of the most gorgeous things ive seen.....there was one on LVR...if Only one digit could be removed from the price tag
Congrats Y0shi!
Has anybody here tried a pair of his mens boots? I'm not talking about his trainers but the low boot with the zips on the side.
I'm just wondering how they would look without having a head to toe RO outfit
I have a pair of the pull-on boots which I have never worn because I hate them and I prefer to wear sneakers. The ones I got have a big bulbous toebox, they almost look like clown shoes. I hate them.
The sidezips look a lot better and have a relatively sleeker profile and I think they can work in a variety of styles/outfits.
Got these yesterday:
These are a lot different to the older style trainers, they're about an inch taller, a bit wider and run half a size big. I have to use an insole, but other than that I'm quite happy with them.
Ryan_Weld Those are the 13 hole version right? I have not seen them with the laces in before.
Would it be possible to post a picture of your pull on boots? I think the ones I am thinking of may be the ones without a zip, if that is the shorter version
Guys! So, my boots arrived, now I'm quite short...like around 5'4/5'5 and I'm a size 39.5 when it comes to shoes...I sized up buying the boots and got them in a 40. I tried them on and I guess they'll be okay with socks on but when I raise the shaft up it wobbles and falls down to my knee. I doubt that my legs are too skinny to hold it up, are they meant to fall like that, or is it maybe because I bought it in a larger size? (although logically thinking about it, the size shouldn't really be an issue) I feel like I should scotch tape them in place every time I wear them... I'm not tall enough...lol.
^Unfortunately yoshi, I would agree with lucky.
The same thing has happened to me before with a pair of thigh-high boots that I bought unseen and the boots just keep slipping down to my knees as I walked....eventually I sold off the pair of boots.
It sounds like the boots are not fitting your legs well...
Thank you Ryan_Weld I think they were the boots that I had in mind.
I see what you mean about the shape of the toe.
The only issue I have is that the ones with the side zip are higher thats my only put off.
Next time I have the chance I will have to try them on and see how I feel.
Have you tried your new trainers with skinny jeans, If so how did they look?
I seem to think that the majority of Ricks clothing only mainly works with Ricks clothing! (besides some leathers and basics!)
