LOL :D
I sold mine because I had 3 pairs of RO boots and couldn't keep them all. I had the stretch knee-highs (the exact ones you posted), the turbo ankle boots with the portholes (like the ones that are on ebay now) and the winter version of the one PrincessImp posted a few pages back... I wore the ankle boots a lot more so I decided to part with the knee highs.

I am hoping to score a pair of the laceup turbos for this winter though.:ninja::evil:

jj, i like those turbos with the portholes you have. i scored a pair on ebay in black, finally, in my size. nothing like a good "basic" black ankle boot...B)

i think the boots he made this season might have some quality issues so im glad to get them from a season or two ago.

^^ really? What have you heard? I have a fall pair on my wish list for the season, but if there are quality issues, I might have to reconsider....

i know on the mens wedges there were issues with the seams coming undone. not sure if this effects the womens versions as well. sorry i couldnt be more helpful. might be best to email the source.

teddy wanted to model ro sharkfin snakeskin booties.B)

I can't find a picture online, but I know RO is making the classic shearling for men this season...I wonder if I should wait to get that once winter arrives or get this Balenciaga, the coat on the left, in black instead...I'm leaning toward the shearling since I don't own any in my closet but I have just gotten a leather jacket this fall, would that be too much leather in one season? Any input is appreciated! Thanks

The Balenciaga on the left (in black) and the RO shearling are so different, I would presume, having not seen the RO. I don't think it would be too much to get both, if you can afford them. I don't pass up good coats if I have the $, because I find they are invaluable in my wardrobe, especially if you live somewhere that has cold autumn and winter weather.

Just my 2 cents!

Yea...I know it's like comparing apples with oranges, but I can't justify getting both since I just got a leather jacket a month ago...so I wonder if I should go with a RO shearling or the wool coat above...

Well in that case I would probably classify the shearling and the leather in the same category. Unless you already have a wool coat of some kind, I would say get the wool coat instead of the shearling... It's nice to have a mix of different kinds of coats.

Foxie I would very rarely give advise to someone against RO however your Bal leather looks amazing, I have not seen the RO sheering but I think the Balenciaga wool jacket is perfect for a more smarter outfit, I have a bal wool jacket and find it great to wear in situations that I feel the need to dress a little smarter.
Hope this helps, btw I saw that bal wool jacket today in person in the colour you posted I loved it but I did not try it on.
