I don't think it's ro, he doesn't normally do sleeves like that. It's prabably one if the many copy cats, every designer seems to have a Rick Owens inspired jacket.

I finally caved in and ordered the RO "mummy" wedge boots. I already fell in love with them when luckyme bought them a while ago and when PrincessImp followed and I wanted them so bad.

I'm sure it was meant to be because they were on sale and the only pair left in my size at antonioli. I thought they'd had sold out. Can't wait to get them.

I tried on this jacket the other day. It's nice. The sleeves are too long on me, though; waiting to hear from the tailor (via the store) about my chances.

tang, you would carry that jacket off so well. love the strong shoulders which you would fill out no problem. hopefully they can tailor for you, looks like it wouldnt be a big issue since his sleeves are usually unfinished, right? i sincerely hope you get this...B)

Thanks, luckyme. It may not be simple; there are zippers at the wrists, and the sleeves are attached in a complex fashion with long strips of material pieced into the body. It may not be possible to do it without compromising the design, in which case it is not worth doing, IMO. But we'll see what the tailor says!

Should the tailoring not work out (touch wood!), how about wearing it with the sleeves scrunched up?
The sleeves on my RO jackets are always too long for me anyways so I always have to scrunch them up, though from the runway pic, the jacket does look a lot more lethal if they are of the "correct" length.

Velony, congrats! the boots are soooo comfortable, you can just walk in them for miles and miles!

PrincessImp - I adore that jacket. I've been looking to get that style for a while, but had no idea he did it in the lillies line. Mind if I ask where you purchased it? I actually bought a Zara k/o of it in black on the fly but of course it doesn't compare.

How long ago did you purchase the jacket? It isn't on the site & I wanted to see how much it was because I know the lillies line is lower priced. The RO boutique in nyc is so out of the way that I never really go there.
