Tang - I echo the previous comments that you would wear that jacket well. Keep us posted on your tailor's thoughts. If for some reason he/she cannot, and you want a 2nd opinion, let me know. I know of a great place in NYC. I have taken a few jackets there with very good results.

tang, the more i see that samurai jacket the more i love it. that is one remarkable rick owens piece.

re: samurai coat. The tailor can shorten the sleeves from the shoulder. Still undecided; I think I am going to wait and see what else comes in, there are some other F/W items I am curious about.

bought these two ro at century 21 in ny:
a sweater like this in a long-sleeve (ribbed sleeve) in an ivory beige color
and this skirt in cotton, not silk. not sure about the skirt, it's a size or two too big and VERY long... (pics yoox.com)
