I don't believe so. It has just been a very long time since we have seen this from Rihanna. I have no problem with Beyonce doing it (cause its something that she always does) and she is a woman of colour.

I understand what you're saying but I think Rihanna's videos have always had a sexual theme, we've been seeing that for awhile now, and I think it's great. She should be allowed to express that without being judged by a different standard. I guess we have our own opinions
There is a lot that has been said of Beyonce too regarding what some perceive as "overt sexiness" or being over the top, in her vids and live performances. You should read the Grammy 2010 thread.

^Love the performance! She looked very confident & I love her outfit. Her legs look amazing too But its the hair thats killing me, especially with that hat! No RiRi, just...no I'm obsessed with the "Rude Boy" video & song, its great for summer. I just think they should've released it a little later in the year, like early Spring? It's great for urban radios, but I don't look at it as a "single", if that makes sense.
